Coming Back Down to Earth

“Tuesday… I’m coming down from the clouds at last. Damn… we actually won Le Mans…”

The days following the 24 Hours of Le Mans always feel a little surreal.

For months, every conversation, every meeting and every decision revolves around a single objective. Then suddenly, the race is over. The noise fades away, the paddock empties and life slowly returns to normal.

Or at least, it tries to.

The reality is that some victories take time to sink in.

After the intensity of race week, the endless preparation and the emotional rollercoaster of 24 hours of competition, there comes a moment when you finally stop and reflect on what has been achieved.

And that is when it hits you.

We actually won Le Mans.

Again.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans remains one of the most demanding challenges in motorsport. Success requires talent, preparation, teamwork and sometimes a little bit of luck. Nothing is guaranteed, no matter how strong the team may be.

That is why every victory feels special.

As the adrenaline slowly fades and the memories begin to settle, one feeling remains stronger than all the others: gratitude.

Gratitude for the people who make it possible, for the opportunity to be part of such an incredible adventure and for the privilege of experiencing moments that will stay with us forever.

Today, the celebrations may be over.

But the smile is still there.
