It’s Time to Head Home: Reflections on an Unforgettable Week in Japan

It’s time to head home.
And once again, I am leaving Japan with that little ache in my heart.
This week has been one of the most beautiful of the season. Because beyond racing, the work and everything that fille our days, coming to Japan is always a truly special expérience.
I deeply love this country. Its atmosphere, its culture, its traditions but, above all, its people.
And I would even go so far to say that a trip to Japan should almost be mandatory, at least once in a lifetime, for us Europeans. Simply to remind us of certain values that we may habe forgotten along the way : respect for others, politeness, discrétion, cleanliness, a sense of community. All those things that make a huge difference in the way we live together.
Every time I come here, I leave with the feeling that I have received far more than I came looking for.
Thank you Japan ! You have been amaing as always. See you next year ! 🇯🇵
