“Never start something you can’t stop…”

Looking back at this photo, it’s hard to imagine that nearly five decades have passed since that moment.

“Where it starts… 47 years ago…”

Like many children growing up in Le Mans, I was fascinated by the cars, the sounds, the atmosphere and the unique magic of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. What began as a simple childhood passion quickly became something much bigger.

Year after year, that fascination never faded. It grew into a lifelong commitment to endurance racing, leading me from the spectator areas to the heart of the paddock, working alongside some of the greatest teams, drivers and manufacturers in the sport.

Today, after decades spent living and breathing motorsport, I still feel the same excitement when I arrive at a race circuit. The cars may have changed, the championships may have evolved, but the passion remains exactly the same.

Sometimes, all it takes is one childhood moment to shape an entire life.
